Language Skills
We help children understand language and use language effectively. Speech therapy may support a child’s ability to follow directions, answer questions, use and understand different words, use age-appropriate grammar, tell stories, use and understand gestures and nonverbal language, and communicate wants, needs, thoughts, and ideas.
Speech Sound Disorders and Delays
We help children develop clearer, more understandable speech so they can communicate more easily with others. Therapy may address:
- Articulation: difficulty saying specific sounds clearly, such as /k/, /r/, or /s/.
- Phonological patterns: sound patterns that make speech harder to understand, such as leaving off sounds or replacing one sound with another.
- Speech intelligibility: how easily other people can understand your child’s speech.

Stuttering
We help children who stutter so that speech flows more smoothly and comfortably. Speech therapy focuses on increasing confidence in communication and self-advocacy, rather than simply eliminating stuttering.
Feeding/Swallowing Disorders
We work on feeding and swallowing skills to help children develop safer, more comfortable, and successful mealtimes. Speech therapy may address challenges with drooling, chewing, swallowing, keeping food in mouth, tolerating different food textures, tolerating foods from different food groups, picky eating, and expanding a child’s food range. We look at sensory needs, oral-motor development, positioning, regulation, and the child’s relationship with food, to help make mealtimes more positive and functional.
Social Communication
We build skills skills needed for children to connect, communicate, and engage with others. Therapy may support joint attention, participating in conversation, turn-taking, understanding and expressing emotions, reading social cues, flexible thinking, perspective-taking, play skills, and building meaningful relationships through everyday interactions.
Literacy
We work on language-literacy skills to help your child develop pre-reading skills, reading, and writing. Speech therapy may target sound-letter correspondence, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and early reading and writing skills.
Voice Disorders
Speech therapy for voice disorders may address hoarseness, breathiness, vocal strain, or an unusual pitch or excessive loudness. We also help children develop healthy and effective voice use to prevent damage to their vocal folds.
Oromyofacial disorders
We work closely with other professionals, such as doctors, pediatric dentists, sleep specialists, and air-way focused ear, nose, and throat doctors to help children with oromyofacial disorders (OMD). OMDs are abnormal patterns of the face and mouth that can interfere with development. Children with OMDs can present with tongue thrusting, open mouth breathing, thumb-sucking after age 2, snoring, teeth grinding, and other oral and facial muscle patterns that impact speech, feeding, dental development, and facial growth.

Working outside insurance networks means more time for your child! We can tailor goals, activities, and recommendations to your child without being limited by insurance requirements. We also offer 45- or 60-minute sessions as needed, with treatment plans based on your child’s goals and needs as opposed to insurance reimbursement
Reimbursement Potential
Many insurance plans offer partial or full reimbursement out-of-network once your deductible is met, and sometimes at a higher rate than in-network care. Pre-authorization and superbills are provided for your insurance or FSA/HSA; claims can also be submitted on your behalf for $10/month.
Truly personalized care
Goals and activities are based on your child’s strengths, interests, and developmental level. You’ll have more access to your speech therapist, too. This allows for ongoing communication and more collaboration as your child’s needs change.

Based on your child’s goals and needs, we will recommend the session length and frequency that will result in the most progress in the least amount of time.. Most sessions are 45 or 60 minutes in length to allow enough time for meaningful therapy while still supporting a sustainable rate of progress.
60 minute session: $140 – $150
